Qualifications:
1.
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
2.
Valid Alabama teaching certificate in the grade level, subject area(s) assigned.
3.
Ability to meet suitability criteria for employment and/or certification/licensure under theAlabama Child Protection Act of 1999 and Act No.
2002-457.
4.
Proficiency in oral and written communication skills.
5.
Effective interpersonal skills, with an emphasis on communication and collaboration with a widevariety of people and groups, for the purpose of maximizing student achievement.
6.
Ability to develop and implement curriculum and programming specific to the needs of studentsat the designated grade level(s) and in the designated content area(s)/subject(s).
7.
Ability to use technology to communicate, to plan and provide instruction, to facilitate studentlearning, to manage data, and to produce/submit required reports, correspondence, and/orfinancial information.
8.
Physical strength, mobility, dexterity, stamina, and acuity to perform job responsibilities.
9.
Ability to be punctual and in regular attendance.
10.

From/To Based on the 2022-2023 Jefferson County Board of Education approved salary schedule:
$44,225 - $90,109 Coaching supplement information is available in the approved salary schedule (pages 19-25, and 28-29) Additional Job Information Coaching and/or academic club sponsorship opportunities requested but not required.
